October 6, 2025 — The Municipal Anti-Drug Abuse Council of Indang, in partnership with Barangay Alulod, proudly participated in the ADAC Summit 2025 held at Hotel Casiana, Tagaytay City. With the theme “Strengthening Institutional Capacities of Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council (SICAP-BADAC)” and the Adbokasiya LABan sa Ilegal na Droga (ALAB) Program Orientation, the summit served as a platform for barangay officials to enhance their skills in implementing anti-drug programs and promoting a safer, more responsible community.
During the event, Barangay Alulod received prestigious recognitions, including the Drug-Cleared Status 2024 and the SGLGB Municipal Level Passer 202. These awards highlight the barangay’s continuous efforts in fostering a drug-free and disciplined community and acknowledge the dedication of both the barangay officials and its residents in supporting anti-drug initiatives.
Barangay officials expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), led by MLGOO Ms. Manne Kimberly Peñalba Babaan, and to Mayor Vergel Fidel for their guidance and support. Their backing has been instrumental in strengthening the barangay’s programs and achieving these significant milestones.
