Introduction

  As the basic political unit, the Barangay serves as the primary planning and implementing unit of the government policies, plans, programs, and activities and as a forum wherein the collective views of the people may be expressed and considered and where disputes may be amicably settled.

History

According to history, Barangay Alulod existed during the Spanish time. A Spanish general assigned in the area directed the planting of bamboo in various places within the barangay because they came to know that it has many uses. It was also recorded in history that the bamboos were used as gutters (Alulod in Spanish) when it was raining. Hence, the place came to be known as Alulod.


Vision 

A barangay that will serve as a model for neighboring communities in promoting livelihood development, maintaining health and peace, and ensuring that local organizations and associations remain strong and well-organized. 


Mission 

To uplift the residents' livelihood, attract investors for agricultural enterprises, maintain an environmentally conscious community, and create opportunities for citizens to improve their quality of life through sustainable employment. 

Information

Barangay Alulod has a total land area of 645.06 hectares. It is located more or less three kilometers from the población and is bounded on the north by Barangay Mataas na Lupa, on the south by Barangay Kaytapos, on the east by Barangay Pangil of Amadeo and on the west by Barangay Bancod.
